Well I have to say that this race was a true success from start to finish. We weren't sure if we could repeat the first event here but there is no doubt this one was just as good if not better! 400+ riders, Great weather-a little dry but Brians new water machine saved the day, record turnout for the PeeWees-75 to be exact, killer C turn out, a wonderfully cute first ever Tykes on Bikes starter program turnout, delicious food and ice cream, a beautiful podium built by the Hall family, rocked out all night with the Volunteers, perfect scoring, every event went off on time, great contingency from our sponsors to give out to everyone, 100% spectator friendly and most of all the best people in the world to hang out and bench race with!!

Moose Racing, Scott USA, Rizzon Cycles, Racers Edge, Riders Choice, Offroad Cycles, Fairway Cycle, B & B Cycle, Town & Country, Texas Road House, TD Photo Imaging, Cumberland County Fairgrounds, Water Gap Coffee Company, Rafines Excavating, all the Top Notch Professional NEOC Staff & Volunteers are the people that laid out the red carpet for just for you.

Saturday our day began with our first ever Tykes on Bikes starter program. We had 14 cute as can be Lil' guys show up on the line. It was the highlight of the weekend. To see their little faces just light up with dreams, excitement, nerves and determination is absolutely the best medicine in the world for anything that ails you. If you can't find happiness witnessing something like that, well then you just aren't human!

The Peewees were next in line to shine. We had our old pal #14 "the Pouncer " Trevor Pritchard come out to race the 7-9 65 class with the boys. As always he gave us a great show and took the overall and let it all hang out on the flat track. #20 Ryan Hall & #51 Gary Enman had the 2nd & 3rd spot on the podium. They took the rails and log jumps like the pros! the battle of the Peewee was in the 10-12 EL class between the top 4 hammer heads. In the end this is how it laid out but let me tell you, it was any one of their games...1st #911 John "Bones" Dwyer, 2nd #910 River "Fly" Sewell, 3rd #909 John "Sandworm" Hiles & 4th (because of a last minute spill) #16 Austin "HoleShot" Higbee. Thanks for a great show boys.

Next was the funnest event of all. The Pit Bikers! We had a costume contest for the Adult Pitbikers. We had a Keg (he won), Uncle Sam, a Jail Bird, Duck Man and Sumo Man with a fro all on the line to dice it up on the course. It was so much fun to watch. 12 Poiner Pro #9 Chris Curtis was the Pitbiker of the day even though he was sick as a dog. #102 Sammy Hansen & #310 Phil Bennet were next in the overall but I will tell you that you haven't lived until you see Uncle Sam, a Keg, Sumo Man in a fro, a Jail Bird and Duckman fly over the jumps and be tapped out on the flat track. It's a good thing.

The Youth Pit Bike great battle was in the Spike Bucks between 1st #167 "Git-up-n-Go" Mike McGee & 2nd #19 "the Gentleman" Jeff Hall. All of these kids just hammer it out. I don't know how their bikes hold up against them. They are just having a blast out there dicing it up with their friends but what they are really doing is honing and sharpening their skills. All I can say is that it won't be long before they move up to the main event and when these kids do...well, you all better look out!

Saturday night ended with some friends, serious rock n roll sound from the Volunteers and a slide show of the year. It was good to relax after a long day.....had to reboot for Sundays events!

Sunday is suppose to be the day of rest but in our church Sunday is the day of Git-R-Done! Sundays start with the youth exploding on to the scene. AA Youth 1st place #30 Kyle McDonal dropped a Bomb on us again. An incredible battle between the next 3 overall riders is what dreams are made of. For an hour and a half they went out it non stop but in the end the chips fell like this...2nd #104 David Worden, 3rd #326 Kenny Tenner & 4th #213 Derrick Shaw. It was a goose bump battle right to the finish. These young men are going to rock the house next year when they move up to race with the big boys. Thanks for a great show.

The C-Split was next up to bat and holy moly you should have seen the C-Lite class, we had to extend the start line about a mile for them. The Podium finishers had their work cut out for them. It wasn't easy but hey sure made it look that way. Top 2 were C Heavy thumpers 1st #509 Travis McGee, 2nd #240 Kyle Bylsma and 3rd overall was a B Super Senior keeping those youngs boys honest #45 Paul Freeman. There were battles and bar banging everywhere you looked on the track. I do believe everyone loved the Flat track because all of them had it tapped out on the corner. It was an awesome event to watch. We even had 3 Vintage racers on the line to show their stuff. Vince, Joe & Big T..you guys are awesome.

The Main Event was the last of the day and it ended the day on a perfect note! The 3 top Overall winners just happen to be 3 handsome local boys that have been dicing it up together all through their youth years. We could not have been prouder to be able to have these young men up on the podium. 1st was AA #307 Mikey Potts Thee original Hammer Head from way back in the first year of this journey we are on. 2nd #211 Joey Ford & 3rd Jimmy Dzierwinski, 2 more boys that we watched grow up through the youth ranks and just spread their wings to soar as high as they want. Very good stuff. But don't you forget who else was in the top ten, it wasn't all young blood. There was some wisdom and experience in there chewing on some knobbies as well, 4th overall A Vet #792 Jeff Pasqua, 6th overall A Senior #44 Alan Jessat & 7th overall A Vet #448 Fred Baxter. These men were taking the top ten overalls back when the top three were still figuring out how to buckle their boots up. Don't ever stop throwing your leg over that seat! LMAO, like the Jail Birds back said....Ride it Like you Stole It!!

Thank You to everyone that came out to race and have a little bit a fun with us. Hope to see all of you at Wickys World on October 18th& 19th. Its our last event of the year and we want to celebrate with everyone in style!

WOW Our first year is almost over...Our Dreams of what it would be were not as good as it has been!

THANK YOU
