Round 4 Evansville Harescramble August 16th & 17th Videos & Pics coming soon.....check out Tim Ds Photos...He has GREAT Photos of everyone so go check them out and see just how cool you are! Two months off was a long break and we sure were glad to be back in the action. We thank all of you for taking time from your busy summer schedule to spend your weekend with us at Evansville. The weather was beautiful and so was the atmosphere. Scoring was FLAWLESS, Sign ups were SMOOTH, Every event took off on the minute, results were posted super quick, evenings were cool, grub was good, fun games with the youngins and SUPER COOL SuperX Saturday Night...Nicky "THE ICEMAN" Davis ROCKED the House...lots of smiles and bench racin' galore! MOOSE, Scott USA, Rizzon Cycles, Fairway Cycle, Riders Choice, Offroad Cycles, Racers Edge, Water Gap Coffee, TD Photo Imaging, Bounce Around So. Jersey. These are the people that help make sure you had a good weekend. Remember to thank them by patronizing their businesses. Let them know you appreciate all they do for us and our kids! #90 Malcom "the High Flyer" Hill won the pit bike. Have fun with it kiddo, Congrats! Top dog of the day was A Heavy #185 Jesse Gill. He put on a great show for us on the superX track and on that giant down hill....wait til you see the footage of all the crazy high flying jumps he and few other hot dogs (#103 Jimmy D) were doing....wow what a show (and gray hair) they gave us! Incredibly cool! #300 Kyle McDonal "the Bomber" was the Overall Youth of the day and he was skying the jumps too.....holy moly can that boy fly. Every time he flew by and above everyone all you could hear was gasping and then when he landed with the throttle still twisted wide open you heard this "OMG that boy can not be right in the head, did you see that, did you see what he just did?" The race of the day was definitely in the PeeWee division. 7-9 65cc had a battle that rivaled any AA race we have seen. #51 Gary Enman & #20 Ryan Hall were bar to bar swapping the lead every lap. In the end Enman prevailed but I tell you it was either ones race. They were side by side on the jumps, side by side going into the woods and you just didnt know who would come out first. It was, for sure, a Goose bump battle right to the finish! Thanks for a great show boys! The Pit Bikers had a little different style race this time...The adult PB did 4 laps on a 2.5 mile mean course. They proved to be just as mean as the course. 12 Pointer Pros #9 Chris Curtis & #39 Mark Williams are showing just how tough they really are. We have said that this Pitbike championship is not going to be an easy one to win....they keep saying "Bring it on!" and speaking of Bring it on, Young bucks #9 Joel Chapman has been bringing it on all year! This young buck is rubbing the velvet off his antlers real quick and I do believe he is shining them up for a good challenge! The youth Pit Bikers had a 3 lap race on the same course. Spike Buck #19 Jeffery Hall took the win and had a whole buch a fun doing it. He was hopping over those jumps like a jack rabbit. I have to talk about a Button Buck...#295 Jared Wobensmith won his class even after takin a spill in a nasty mud hole (which I got footage of..check out the video) and having to push his bike over the last set of jumps to the finish...This kid is one tough cookie! My hat is off to you kiddo! Racing isn't just about the racing, it's about being with your favorite people hanging out and sharing a laugh about something that he/she did......my laugh was that fact that even though we had banners, flags and a cone on and around the awning bar "John" still managed to bang his head on it every time he walked by....or how "Doug" wore a head band that made him look like Richard Simmons motoX brother sweatin to the oldies....Yes it does sorta seem like my laughs are at other peoples expenses but honestly, I am laughing with them not at them.....okay maybe a little at them but hey, You know everyone of you guys have laughed at your friends expense. (I changed the names to protect the innocent) Well, I hope to see everyone at the Northeast Offroad Classic down at Ormond Farms on August 30th & 31st. We have lots of great things planned for everyone. Ryan Rodgers will be doing another school with the Youngins on Saturday evening...more details to come on that so stayed tuned. I am working on the pictures and videos feverishly to get them done ASAP...I lost a day on the computer because we stayed an extra night at Evansville to tear things down but I am in overdrive drinking my Water Gap Moto Java coffee to get it done. (I can't seem to live with out that these days).....Noellie (Smellie Noellie was my nick name at the end of the weekend, okay see, my friends laugh at me too so were even, right!) |
